Right place, right time

This view was only there for about a minute, how lucky I was to be looking out of the window and my camera was to hand. It would have been good to have had a telephoto lens as well to get a close up. We have been having sleety showers and can see snow on the hills in both Devon and Wales.

  1. Pure magic, this view of water and rainbow and distant vistas. From my place in the high desert of New Mexico, sometimes we can see the snow capped mountains of Wheeler Peak, in Carson National Forest, 115 miles away. My son in law is British and both he and my daughter have hiked and visited Wales as well as taken the grand kids to Cornwall, a place that I would love to visit from the writings of Rosamunde Pilcher as well as the telly series, Doc Martin !

  2. Lovely - such gentle soft pastel colours.
We've had snow showers and this morning there was a brief intense flurry with snow flakes the size of saucers - extraordinary. The weather is a never-ending source of surprise!

  3. Thanks so much for the nice comment on my blog. Your photos are wonderful and the pop up shop looks fabulous!
