I have just passed my 200th post so I think a giveaway is in order. If the bowl is travelling overseas I will not be able to include the lichens. The bowl is very small.
As am not here for a few days in the near future I will not be picking a name until Monday 4th November.
Please leave a comment and I will pick your name out of the proverbial hat.
Came here by way of another blogger, Saskia of Tales from the Birdhut and I'm glad I did. Spent some time looking, reading; wonderful works here. I'm a forager and gatherer of field offerings, wildflowers, grasses, weeds, rocks, twigs, leaves, acrons, pinecones, bird nests, it they have fallen on the ground and I often dye with what I find. The gifts of the land are small treasures and you little bowl is equally so and strikes a cord with me.. Newly moved to New Mexico, I live in the US, so understand about the lichens. Your banner photo is certainly captivating and beautiful as is your work, Steep Holm at a recent exhibition. Thank you for the opportunity of the giveaway.
ReplyDeleteHi Marti, and welcome, thanks for your generous comments, I would be very interested in looking at your blog but couldn't enter your site. If you are willing maybe you could send me a link. My email is on my website if you would prefer to use that.
DeleteDebbie, I don't have a blog but the Oct. 15th entry of India Flint's blog, found, stitched and dyed, features one of my cloths.
DeleteThanks Marti, I just had a look and remember admiring your cloth when I first read your entry, and the way you have hung it which I love.
DeleteIts lovely! Please put my name in the hat. I too will be traveling - hope you have a lovely time.
