Slow progress

This piece is growing but more slowly than I had hoped, life gets in the way. I am still hoping to produce another three pieces by June plus some smaller ones.
We are trying to find a house for my daughter. She is moving back with us in the meantime, her belongings arriving today and herself tomorrow. So more interruptions but good ones.

  1. Incredible weaving, Debbie! I assume you are just working in sections, and the way they interlock is amazing. I like your "shuttles" although I imagine they are called something else. They look more like spools. Best wishes with family moving in, always an adjustment.

    1. Thank you Barbara, yes I am just working in sections, sometimes its a bit of a puzzle to work out the combinations but I am having fun with this one. The shuttles are called bobbins and are the best way to weave on larger pieces.

    1. Hi Els thanks for popping over and for your comment. I love felt, its so versitile but having a slight allergy to wool can't work with it, your work is fascinating, very unusual.
