Some more work for our exhibition, I forgot to take photos before I framed two of these so sorry for the reflections. The skeleton leaf is a print, something I learnt at an Alice Fox course http://www.alicefox.co.uk and then had a fun day practicing with my friend Liz Hewitt. The picture includes the original leaf.
The weaving is a small piece with rusty pieces and tea stained.
The last photo is another reassembled bark cloth piece and rusted cotton piece.

      Its from a sea holly that I had in my garden, sadly dead now, its beautiful isn;t it.

    I love the woven hanging very much. And the leaf too. I am going to do an experimental stitch workshop with Alice Fox in Torquay next month xx

    That leaf and its printed image is beautiful - and how lucky you were to have a course with Alice Fox. I always seem to be too late when I find what's on offer. I met her though in Stroud at the SIT festival - a real pleasure.

      Yes she is very popular, I did a day course with her in Stroud a couple of years ago. Check out her website you need to reserve a place about a year in advance.
