Close ups of some pieces for Liz Hewitt's and my exhibition at Weston Quarry which is then travelling on to the West of England Quilt and Textile show.
Sorry the colours are a bit dark.

  2. Yes Grace, it says 'Strive not to struggle, achieve just by being. Meet unkindness with compassion' and is from the Tao Te Ching.
    I would like to stitch more words but am having trouble with my wrist and have two more banners still to create. They are made from old cotton sheeting and have been exposed to the elements in a rusty bowl for about three months.
