Its growing slowly

Labyrinth
Still working away on my weaving for the NEC stand, its growing very slowly, never again am I going to attempt anything like this again.
I am actually working on quite a few different pieces involving weaving, stitching and dyeing for various exhibitions but can't show them before until the exhibitions are open..

  1. WOW! Very impressive Debbie. Beautiful; and complicated technically. Did you hand-dye the threads? I love that terracotta/rust. Has a feel of earth/stone to it. Nice ambiguity.

  2. Sometimes we talk ourselves into something that takes on a life of its own. In this case you are bringing beauty to life. This is absolutely gorgeous - I would love to see it in person.

    1. Thank you both for your comments and encouragement, it makes the going easier. It is turning into a bit of a slog though despite not being technically proficient it does seem to be turning out ok.
Jan no I don't dye my own threads though I am experimenting with dyeing threads for stitched pieces when I am doing eco bundle dyeing.

  5. working with such a strong archetype is empowering taking you deep into the collective consciousness but it's a big challenge too as we all know what that labyrinth looks like, it's imprinted in the human soul so you have to get it "right" & you are!
