Exhibition opening - too hot

Sand Bay - bottled and shelved
Our exhibition opening went quite well but it was so hot I think most people just stayed at home or went to the beach. I forgot to take any photos but these are images of my own work.

  2. The lichen weave is simply amazing, powerful design, with quite a tribal feeling. I am fascinated by how you created it; truly spectacular piece of weaving.

    1. Thanks you for all your great comments, have not been back long from stewarding will try to put a diagram together of how the tapestry was made for my next post. For starters the weaving was done from side to side and then turned for hanging.

    1. Thank you Grace your presence over here is always appreciated, I love weaving on driftwood, some people find it a strange thing to do but I love the whole thing from finding it on the beach full of sand and debris, cleaning, sanding and polishing until it is a thing of beauty once again and then gently enhancing it and giving it a new life.

  5. Your fiber weavings are wonderful... love how you incorporate naturals like driftwood into your weavings.
